Renting a car...need insurance?

    hello, I was wondering what kind of insurance do I need to purchase
    from a car rental place if I don't own a car myself, but have motorcycle
    insurance?
    Anyone have experience with this? Do I need to get extra insurance?

    Check with your insurance carrier, but I'd be surprised if
    motorcycle insurance covered cars. They're usually completely
    separate entities.

    You will probably need liability coverage. Since you're covered on the
    bike with State Farm, you might ask your agent for a recommendation.
    Car rental agencies don't generally think to ask whether you've got
    liability coverage when you rent a car, so this is a matter for your
    protection.
