Replace stock '01 R6 forks with R1 '03-'04 inverted forks?

    I recently noticed that my stock forks on my '01 R6 are rusted to hell
    just outside of the suspension play. I started shopping around for
    replacement forks when someone mentioned that it is possible to put R1
    inverted forks on my R6. I have a '01 R6 and am considering doing
    this.

    Does anyone know if it is possible to do and if so what parts would I
    need to complete the job fully. I know I would need the clip-ons and
    triples but what else would I need?
