The CB250RS now has a nice shiny new MOT.
Goes like stink for a 250 and its in the one true colour.

I now have too many bikes, all good and fettled so if anyone fancies
any of the items in my sig it is all for sale.

What sort of price for the Velo?
The Beezer might be of interest too.

Asking around a grand for the LE, a tad less for the Bantam.
The Bantam is the D14 Sport with high pipe and chrome mudguards, these
    are a bit scarce.
Both well fettled, I am busy upgrading the Bantam to 12v this week.
The LE was completely rebuilt 2 years ago including a 500 quid engine
rebuild by Alf Snell, loads of stainless etc. It could do with new
legshields, the club is waiting for new stock to arrive.
Both taxed & MOT until December.
    Located near Weston Super Mare.

I need to do some research on current prices but I have a feeling that
I might start laughing and keep it. TOG picked up an almost identical
one for next to bugger all a few months ago.

I know someone that was interested in a "Noddy Bike" I'll pass it on to him.
I was considering the Bantam, but I doubt So would allow me to spend that
much on one. I'm afraid I don't like the high scrambler pipe type though.

    I'll let thee know.

  12. Oddly, I've always fancied a Bushman because they are *so* pretty.

    <re-reads sentence>

I realise this is open to misinterpretation in a Walkabout way, so for
those not into SOBs, a Bushman is the very rare trail version of the
    late 175 Bantam.

It is often difficult to tell the difference between a Bushman and a D14S,
they both have the high exhaust and chrome mudguards. The biggest
difference is in the electrics, the Bushman does not have a battery.
The Bushman also had the stronger front forks but these were also fitted
to all later Bantams. The Bushman should also have the standard seat
rather than the sport seat with the high tail.
IOW - Put a standard seat on a late D14S and it looks like a Bushman.

  16. well, I think there was an implicit "4-stroke single" attached to that. I
    don't image it outperforms e.g. a 250 GP bike. Although I wouldn't fancy
one of them for dispatch riding.

Actually, I am sad to report that I had a bike fail an MOT. It wasn't
actually my bike, and I hadn't done a bit of work on it.

It was my mate Murf's Ducati 748SP, which he never uses. He asked me if
I'd take it for a few days to rack some miles up and get it MOTd, so I
did - it failed on headlight aim being too high... just so my tame MOT
man could say he was the one who finally managed fail a bike for me.
Ordinarily he'd just ask me to readjust it while he waited and then
    print out a pass certificate.
