They've missed out the most obvious way to slash accident rates etc.

Ban everyone from having the use of motorised transport.

I do wonder if the twats who are in charge of the decisions to bring
in more speed cameras etc, work solely from home and get their
shopping delivered, only they don't appear to 'get out much'.

If they did, there's a slim chance they might come to the conclusion
that maybe they need to focus less on speeding as the root of all
evil, and more on generally piss poor driving and the more myopic
being a big factor in accidents etc.

That's probably the ultimate goal of this frog-boiling approach.

I'm sure they will, just as soon as the technology's invented to allow
easy revenue generation from such things.

Is it just me that wonders exactly where they find the cunts with the
mindset to push all this kind of stuff through?

I mean it's not 'normal' really, is it?

You can always find someone to scientifically determine what you need
determined with a big enough research grant.
Not if you see the bigger picture, no.

'Hello? Is that the University of East Anglia?'
    :)

Ivory towers... line them all up against the walls of one, and shoot
    them. ;-)
