  5. Or a life? :) I read/post more on bad job days. Today, I wish to kill the
fuckwit laughingly known as my manager. So I apologise in advance for any
    increase in posting volume.

  6. I had one of those once. They're over rated.
Hmmm, it varies here. I'll not look at news for a couple of days then
hit catch up or I'll have days like today when I dip in every hour or
so while I make coffee. Of course the more coffee I drink, the more I
wibble and as my beloved sprogs have abandoned me I have no one better
than UKRM to inflict my gibberish on.
    What did they do?

Being self employed rocks. Though it does mean that I have to go and
see the bumbling academic next month to find out what I'm doing until
    September.
You just want to beat Champ to the top of the stats, admit it...

I take great comfort in not having been in them for over a year.

When I have days when I post lots I just think of it as giving people
something to amuse them. Or point and laugh at. I'm never quite sure.

Lurked, read for tone and content, studied ffaq, tested self, posted
politely, fucked off just in case.
When I started motorcycling (1972) it was a full wave every time. When the
left bars started having a "pass" button, it was a quick flash of main beam.
When most started riding with headlamp on it became a nod of the head. Now
it's hard even to get that.
I didn't say bikes were liable to get *caught*, just Gatso'd as much as
cars. For myself, I wouldn't dream of exceeding the speed limit. In fact,
I normally deduct 10 from the posted limit and stick to that as a personal
commitment to safer roads. I never have accidents, although I've seen
    *thousands*.

  13. Indeed. The only problem is dealing with fuckwit managers and imbecilic
    employees.

You may think it is funny doing that, but all you are achieving is to
irritate the bods who look at the pictures - and no doubt they pass on
their irritation up the line. The more cameras you wave a foolish
digit at, the sooner they'll turn all the fuckers around and aim at
your arse. I really don't see the point in bringing this day forward
    - quite the reverse, as it were.

If you doubt me, there was a report in the local rag here last year
(complete with a picture of a motorcyclist raising said digit at a
camera) giving an account of how the police laid a trap for a regular
fingerer. He commuted past the camera on a regular basis, so all they
had to do was wait - he duly turned up, was stopped and arrested. The
charges included speeding, offending public decency (or somesuch) and
not having insurance, amongst others ... but it goes to show that if
you cock an unneccessary snook at authority too many times, they will
    come and get you.

  20. Walked upon the earth.... but as long as I can work from home, I might
    tolerate the bastard.
    Yes, I'm contemplating that option.
See, look at it as you giving something back to the world. The precious gift
