How fucking much? That's one mistake I'll try very hard to avoid then.

So, the solenoid was knackered? Wouldn't it be easier to just fix it?

Something like that is fairly unique, I'll grant you.

No you're not. You weren't doing so a few minutes ago when texting me,
    for a start.
And tell me, how do you get on with the rest of life if you're
    _always_ criticising her?

Look, you can't have it both ways. Either you accept that currrent
usage become correct, in which case stop whinging about misuses such
as 'infinitely more', or try to remain true to the spirit of the word,
in which case stop using 'always' when you simply mean 'repeatedly'.
I believe you're only showing your inconsistency further by quoting
fucking encarta as a definitive source. If I quote another dictionary
that doesn't list your preferred usage, will that cancel yours out?

Look I didn't plan on being at work either!
3 days running I've planned on going to Liverpool for new tent. So each
day I've dropped into work (lEEDS). Each day I've checked the traffic
    and thought **** THAT.

    As you can see....

Bike is in Dealer so I'm having to drive.

Why not just buy a tent in Leeds?

I think the answer to that MUST be obvious. One does not cross the
    Pennines without good cause.

    Dan? Is that you?

Anyway, there's not much in it according to Google:

7,980 for "hoist with his own petard"
7,670 for "hoist by his own petard"

New pump? A grand to you sir. New injectors? That'll be £250 each.
Labour, diagnostics etc. Oh, look, now we've got that lot off the water
pump's leaking - need to do that while we're there. Oh, sorry, the water
pump bolts were rusted in, had to drop the engine to drill 'em out.

The annoying thing was the fuel pump expired just after we got the car
back from accident repairs. With 20/20 hindsight shoulda just driven the
damn thing off a cliff. I'm pretty sure the pump expired due to the
(admittedly about a year earlier) mis-fuelling incident.

I'll think very carefully about ever buying a common-rail diesel
secondhand because there's no way of telling if the pump's been damaged
    in the past.
