    - Worked like a dog.
    - Bought a K1100
    - Started to service it (July)
    - Got the engine back together (August)
    - er... parked it up waiting to put the bodywork back on...
    - Had a good holiday in California/Arizona/Nevada.
    - Worked like a dog.
    - Got the worst flu I've ever suffered in Tokyo complete with fever and
    hallucinations.

Not at all, low mileage, late K1100LT in very good condition. Checked
the valve clearances and one was *slightly* tight (about .01 to .02mm
too tight) so I had to remove the camshafts. To do this (without the
tools) I needed to remove the camchain and to manage this comfortably I
removed the radiator (unnecessary but I was feeling keen.)

Unfortunately life then got in the way; building a garage and knocking
my toilet and bathroom together and giving them a major overhaul (new
concrete floor, bathroom suite, tiles, underfloor heating, shower etc.)

Basically since about August I've spent every minute I'm not working
(about 50 hours a week plus commuting and lots of travel) either
    building or studying (business course.)

Of course, next year will be better so I'll get the K1100LT back
together during January once I've finished the bathroom and kitted out
    the new garage.

No, cheek. It was (apparantly) a sebacious cyst.

Doesn't leave me much room to be insulting to you really, does it.
    Bugger. You too.

Concur wholeheartedly. If 2006 starts off like this year did, I might
    just give up straight away.
