  17. Mine was OK up until September 29th. Since then:
    o DT175MX stolen from backyard
    o Medion GPS/PDA pickpocketed on a Geneva bus
    o Glitch on a blood-test suggested diabetes (since discounted)
    o High-end Dell laptop failed when running Scientific Linux, back for
    _fourth_ new motherboard
    o Gamma race-bike stolen from backyard

    Only upside:
    o I've now outlived my father

    at Sarrat -- this laptop still has the Grolier Encyclopedia permanently
    resident in its drive (tho' having broadband means that google is more
    often used these days).
