Texas Democratic Veterans and TMRA II will be traveling to Houston from all
over the state, this upcoming week.. The TMRA II leadership has requested
that all the bikers throughout the state show up in full riding gear and on
their motorcycles, if possible.. There will be a group leaving the Ft.Worth
area sometime on the 17th to ride down.. Should be a good ride and all the
guys that I know who plan to make it, are sure enough "good guys"... The KOA
Campground nearby should have sufficient space to accomodate most of the
ones who want to go, and I am sure that surrounding areas will have motel
vacancies.. The Democratic Veterans groups will be staying all over the city
and will be easy to find at the convention center.. Most will be wearing
remnants of their old uniforms .. Got a "beef" with the way things are
going, this would be an excellent opportunity to air it out and get it off
your chest.. Who knows, the democratic platform just might have something
you can contribute involved this year... See you all in Houston..

Hmmm.. Nah.. that guy was in Austin over this past weekend.. Contrary to
popular belief, his thong is not leather, either.. LOL..Dang.. what a
"poser".. I don't think he even rides a motorcycle, but people took more
pictures of him than the bikes.. Would you believe, someone told me, he ran
    for Mayor, once...

Hey.. that's him... LMAO.. He was parading up and down the street, with
    everyone taking his picture..

    I don't recall how
"Different" is inadequate to describe him.. LOL.. Can you imagine how much
guts it takes for a man to waltz around making a fool of himself like that ?
I guess every place has a "village idiot".. huh ?

    They
That dude had no telling how much money stuffed in that thong he was
wearing.. I noticed that he would move some of it down into his shoe every
now and then.. Me and my group were all hanging around some barricades
watching all the goings on, and he kept walking up and down the street..
Every time he made a pass, he had more money.. I think everyone who took his
picture gave him some more money.. Sheesh.. Wonder how many votes he got,
    when he ran for mayor...

At least he didn't get elected.. LOL.. That would really be something,
wouldn't it ? An accident did occur downtown during the Saturday
festivities.. Some clown was doing "burnouts" and slammed into a crowd of
people on the street.. I didn't get close enough to see how many were
injured nor how bad anyone was hurt.. Has anyone heard of the outcome of
    this idiotic accident ?

There was also a pretty bad accident on I-35 South going into Austin
just south of Round Rock, Saturday afternoon. It shut the interstate
and frontage road down for about 45 minutes or so. I rode by while
they were scraping motorcycles and people off the highway. I decided
to wait it out at the La Margarita and talk to a pretty little girl
working there. I heard she went to 6th Street looking for me, but I
had to be other places real quick and missed meeting back up with her.
