Yeah, I'd seen that before. I just can't say what, but
something looks real strange about that clip. To me,
it almost looks like the "ditch guy" drove it there with
intent. I just didn't see any avoidance try.

    Thanks.

A good example of the dragon:

I can't believe anyone in their right mind would run off one of those
edges on purpose. If you'd ever been out there, and what you couldn't
see in the clip, those run offs are about 100 feet minimum through
trees and rocks. They don't have guard rails, but if someone runs off
like that guy did he'll be thinking about it for quite some time until
he stops and hits the bottom.

What's frightening about it, the guy behind him almost followed right
    behind like a sheep.

Deal's Gap is certainly not very forgiving to someone doing stupid
shit. A short tap on the throttle in the wrong place will be a costly
    one.

  7. Once again living proof that self taught or having buddy "show you how it's
    done"
    doesn't work ever.

You're right, I've never been there, and it's probably
unlikely that he drove the ditch intentionally. But, the
fact that film was rolling, in conjunction with my per-
ception of the lack of any kind of correction, seemed
    suspicious.

You're right though, nobody would run a bike over a
100 foot cliff just to get a YouTube clip. Like most
things of a similar nature, an onsite presence would
have presented a much clearer picture than did the
    video, at least to me.

    Thanks.

Damn, I wish I could get that off You Tube. Do one stupid thing and it's
videotaped, you live with it forever.

That baby had power, though. Did you see how far the car moved?

Yeah, you're right. Although it was a small car, and a
very large motorcycle. According to the audio, that
guy had 39K invested/dumped into that bike.

He probably could've bought 3 of those little cars for
    that.
