First things first, I have to get these old worn out bald ass tires
(which were brand spanking new only a month ago) replaced on the Bird.
Man, has it really only been a month? And this is a sportbike fellers!
And a couple of those weeks I had to have the bike just sit in the
garage because I was out of town. Just imagine what I could do riding
a bike like say....a "Mighty Valk"?

Okay, after the tire change, I'm looking to ride a short bit today to
scuff them up. Nothing long or intense because I have to be home at a
reasonable hour. I'm thinking about maybe a limit of let's say 500
miles? I hear Redshad did about 600 day before yesterday on a short
day run with a bunch of BSing and picture taking. Since I'm not into
the picture taking thing when I ride, I figure 500 miles should be
    easy! :)

I'm also in need to stop by Fry's and see about picking up the TomTom
Rider GPS, if they have it in stock and I don't find something else I
    need instead.

I'll be @ Grapevine Kawasaki this morning when they open and as soon
as the tires are done, I'll be pulling out. It's going to be windy
    today, so think "AERO"!

    All ABOARD!

Where is this DFW Honda place you speak of, how would I get to it from
Grapevine.....and which takes longer, an oil change/service from there
or Micah doing a tire change while Dean/David try and sell me on some
    other crap for this Honda?

Sorta sounds like the lightbulb joke, huh?

Dude, who came up with the idea to put two motorcycle dealerships
right across the highway from each other? That's just bullshit making
motorcycle dealerships convenient where people would want to go.

See, Sammy White's was smarter....he put his where no one else would
want to go, and where it's so inconvenient that people would get
pissed just trying to get into the joint. Then when that doesn't work
and keep the hoards of people out, he has a top notch sales staff that
    can "make it happen".

Brian. OK............enough, I give in, buddy.
    You the man.
I use to poke at cha' about not saying much about ''riding'' on here.
    You, got my attention, yesSir-ree.

It seems, you have shown lately, that you could probably ''ride circles
    around me''.

I use to wonder what that meant, in the old days on here, when you father
    introduced the concept. <g>

But now I guess I know.
    (I think I know, anyway???)
TheMighty Valk is not the type bike to be ridden in circles, atleast,
    not tight ones.<g>
But, you (probably) still are better at circle riding, anyway you look
    at it.

I have no doubt, that you will casually ride 500 today, and still get
home in plenty of time to spare, to clean out the garage, or do some
    other ''honey dos'',

Cant wait to meet you in Mena, and look at a sure-nuff BlackBird, a Bike
I had never hurd of, till you got yours.

I found out more about it, at my Honda Store just yesterday.

I didnt realize it falls in the esteem category of unique classics, that
Honda doesnt make anymore; like Magnas, Valks., others, probably.

I truly understand why you went to all that trouble to get you one of
    them rare BlackBirds.

OMG, why am I sayin' all this sweetness, shoot.
    Having a tender moment? WTF.

This in no way, means I won't stop messing with ya, when the ocassion
presents its self, for this ol' Bowie county RN kinda guy.

    Over?
