Uh-oh. Looks like someone took the wrong pill this morning. I appears
to be sucked in by the dark side...

I am now the proud(ish) owner of a two-stroke. Given my well earned
reputation that's a very clever move indeed but never mind.

So, what we've got here is a Suzuki GT380 with Dunstall bodywork,
single seat (freshly upholstered, bonus), MOT'd, Taxed, with 9200
miles on the clock. Oh, and it runs. Delivered to my house by the
proud new owner of the Sprint ST, who came down from Yorkshire
yesterday night. God only knows what the neighbours thought about two
dodgy blokes (that'll be me and him) unloading and loading bikes at
1:30am in the morning. Well, at least we didn't start them up...

To my surprise, it started second kick this morning, it idles OK
although it comes off the choke rather quickly, so I probably have to
buy some new carpet underlay. Blue haze production was shut off
quickly when the neighbours started coughing :p.

That aside, it appears to be OK under the grime, but it needs a visit
from the Solvol fairy as a lot of the alloy parts are a bit
oxidised. *If* I'm going to keep it it'll also need a new paint job -
it's a nice period colour but the quality of the paint is shit. Proper
    orange peel, that.

Oh, and I've got this voice whispering in my ear "Spannies, you know
    you want some, mate"...

Anybody got some to fit a GT380?

I _had_ read it before I agreed to take the bike into custody. I mean,
it doesn't sound that different from most other bikes I've owned so
    far...

Let me guess, starts off like the Holy Pushrods, then you smack your
hands into each other at high speed?

Oh, and I've got this voice whispering in my ear "Spannies, you know
"the engine chose that moment to give up the ghost. With a Bang that could
be heard for miles the center pot blew the baffles out of both of its
exhaust pipes and showered my unfortunate friend with pieces of red hot
piston ring fragments. And piston. And bits of Crankshaft."

    Pure class.
