LOL. In other words, it's probably the air-proof sealant to prevent the air seeping out through proous alloy. Superb. You've just rendered your tubeless rims useless.
TOG, this is a 'decorative' stripe around the outer edge of the rim. Yamaha paint it on the R1, but some sad fucks stick a pinstripe around the rim. It often looks as crooked as a donkey's rear leg
I believe he's refering to rim *prettifying* tape. The stuff cunts stick to the outside of the rim to make it look "cool". Now avaialbe as standard on some bikes as an incentive to encourage people to get their wallets out. -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
Yeah, I see that now. Trouble is, having nurtured SOBs for a generation, I've come to think 'rim tape' means one thing and one thing only. Next you'll be telling me that ram air isn't a piece of tin on top of a cylinder head.
Indeed, my fucking thumb nail hurts like it's been slammed in a door :-( -- Nige, Land Rover 90 Yamaha R1 Range Rover Vogue
Odd i found this, the R1 doesnt have any kind of ram air, i found that a bit odd. -- Nige, Land Rover 90 Yamaha R1 Range Rover Vogue
I found a way, blast them like **** with heat, let it cool just a bit & you are away, but i would rather juggle shitballs than do that again. -- Nige, Land Rover 90 Yamaha R1 Range Rover Vogue
See if Nitro-moors paint stripper does anything to the overal coating on a bit that doesn't show, if it doesn't then try it on the pinstriping.
