    Guys

Any suggestions on beefing the exhaust up a little? There is bugger all
around off the shelf that I can find?

The bloke across the road from me has a louder CAR than my bike!

Get a hacksaw and cut the headers off about 6" from the cylinder.

If it was good enough for the Supermarine Spitfire...

    Damn; too quick for me!
('though I wasn't clever-enough to draw the Supermarine comparison)

Supposedly the headers were originally pointing straight out from the
block, and by adding a 90-degree elbow it added enough extra thrust to
give the plane a 10mph higher top speed[1]!
