Valenteflon is sore and sorry and has qualified in 18th and last place
    (behind the Ducati wild-card!).
That might take him four or five corners to get to the front!!

Capirossi is 15th but the "resurrected" Melandri is 7th!!

(Top Duke is Hoffman and Hopper's on pole with Nakano and Edwards filling
    out the front row)

I guess that'll happen when you fall off and fracture your hand. I doubt
he'll even race if todays effort is anything to go by ...

Here's a job for that elephantine memory of yours, Clem... Rossi
sustained a wrist and a foot fracture when he crashed on Thursday.

Am I right in thinking that those would be the first bones he's ever
broken in a race weekend crash?

I think he did a wrist in about his 3rd 500 race in 2000.
I'm sure he must've done another wrist or two back in the 125s too....
(I'd check his autobiography but after two pages of his self-love I
    returned it to the library!!)
