Rossi ok but still in pain

Valentino Rossi fans, Yamaha, and the owners of Donington Park
breathed a collective sigh of relief a few moments ago when the
Italian was given the all-clear to ride later to today and for the rest
of the Assen GP following a hospital check-up this morning.

    ....

But it's not all plain sailing. Rossi has chipped a bone in his right
wrist, and dislocated a bone 'near' the right ankle, so although he
will ride later it's anyone's guess yet how painful or possible it
    will be.

I can only make it on the friday. I've not been to the MotoGP before
though I've been to BSB and World Superbikes. Is it a good laugh on the
friday still? It's certainly quite a lot cheaper.

Oh and obviously I do know that it is only practice sessions for the
MotoGP on that day before someone comments on why its so much cheaper ;-)

My question is , is it still worth going along?

I've only done Fridays at the Valencia round. It's quiet, you don't get
the atmosphere, but you do get to listen to the bikes in all their
glory. It's less exciting, but still sort of good. Whether it's worth
it depends on how you value things.

Exactly. He also said "I do know that it is only practice sessions for
    the MotoGP on that day".

    So there.
