Phone commenced ringing early this AM.. Buddy Helscel started it off by saying he will be leaving Casa Grande, Arizona sometime in the evening on Sunday.. Plans are to meet him in Van Horn on Monday in the AM.. Two of the old pards from Tulsa are coming in on Wednesday .. Looks like we are about ot get a convoy.. Mike Nichols is coming up from Kaufman county and Joe Keogh is planning to fly in from Vegas .. He's planning to rent one of Stroker's bikes and make the run with us.. That's almost the whole "old" crew.. What a sight to behold.. This group of old timers (myself not included) are all chomping at the bit to make another run together.. Bob Quenten is "down" and can't make it and Bobby Tooman is playing nursemaid for a couple of the grandkids.. We are going to miss them both, on this run...I can guarantee they will be talked about.. LOL.. Seems like it has been forever since this group of old "hardcases" made a run together.. You can be sure that we will all make the most of this one, and Austin should be prepared.. Hmmm..
