    Oh yes, indeed. There's the new autoroute down past Cahors to
    Toulouse, with the Millau bridge. New routes into the Alps. Loads of
    stuff around Calais-Boulogne-St Omer way. I'm always amazed how empty
    French motorways are.

    Now, if only the bastards could put some working petrol stations into
    the main road network. We were hunting for fuel *again*, this August,
    when we were ballooning. The towing vehicles had been drinking fuel,
    as they do, and needed refuelling, and it was a Sunday....
