Route-planning software

    May's PCPro had, on cover-disc, something called 'Map & Travel Route
    Planner'. It's German in origin, the interface is a bit clunky and it's
    not street-level in its searches etc. BUT it does have a 'Motorcycle'
    setting which uses motorways 'only when unavoidable' sticking to A and B
    roads in GB and N and D in France, for example. I wouldn't buy it but
    they're giving it away in exchange for online registration. I can upload
    it to UKRM-nova if anyone wants to try it. (Windows, by the way, haven't
    yet tried it under Wine).
