RS Throttle change?

I would like to change the integrated throttle/brake setup on the 100RS for
two separate units. A quick action throttle and brembo master cylinder.
The brake side is easy enough and I'm comfortable relocating the switch
functions to a panel in the fairing. The throttle bit has had me wondering
for a long time though. Where would one get a suitable quick action
throttle and assuming the original cables wouldn't then fit how does one go
    about sorting that out.

The original throttle uses two cables but I suppose a 1:2 setup would be
    possible.

  2. Have you tried googling for "quick-action throttle" -- I get lots
of hits (and a quick glance shows prices between £20 and £140).

Looks like the same diameter as standard but Venhill seem to have a wide
range of possible solutions. I'll start with watchiong ebay et all for a
Brembo master cylinder and lever. I see a lot of different cylinder
diameters/ratios quoted, can anyone explain the subject? I can guess the
effects in terms of lever travel and effective pressure at the pads but HTF
do you work out what you might need.

The RS has twin old style 2 piston Brembo callipers as fitted to many BMW's,
    Guzzles etc.

If Ducati John manages to mate my Showa race fork radial brake front end to
the ST4S I'm going to have a bash at fitting the OE gold Showa front end to
the RS for a giggle. The bikes are a similar sort of weight. They both have
large diameter axles and mating the front wheel/discs will be the biggest
    challenge.

My dream conversion for an RS is having a slightly longer banana swinging
arm with external shaft to squeeze in a K1100RS rear wheel running a decent
    size radial tyre.

  6. IIRC many of the Bing-carbed airheads used a 1:2 setup as standard. Looking
on the Motorworks site, there are indeed the various components available.
I suppose yours has Dellortos, though.

Nope 32 and 40mm Bings. They are generally preferred. The ultimate was a
Kehin flat slide conversion but that was from Ultimate Source, long since
    defunct.
