runs but dies later

    my 1971 bsa runs great for about 6or so miles and cuts out and then
    restarts first kick ive gotten rid of the lucas ignition repaced it with
    a boyer and rebuilt the carb. can anyone help

    Clogged float valve or fuel filter or strainer in the tank? Sounds like
    you're running the float bowl empty faster than you're filling it.
    Between cutting out and getting a foot on the kick start, it refills.
    Just a guess.
