.... the film. silly but entertaining. Apart, that is, for the Guzzi
1100 Sport dubbed with an in-line-four soundtrack. FFS!

I guess they picked it for its styling, but really!

This set me thinking: what other bike (or any vehicle) incongruities
have there been? I'm sure this has been done before, but what the
    hell.

I recall aTV episode of... something, where a Honda XL four-stroke was
dubbed with a two-stroke soundtrack. Then there's the famous
Terminator 2 trail bike with the infinite gearbox.

The Mission Impossible 2 Triumph with the magic back tyre that
transformed itself from a road tyre to a trail tyre and back again,
    depending on surface.

I'll ignore the propeller soundtrack dubbed onto a jet aircraft in
Airplane! as I'm sure it was a piss-take.

    Any others?

Which was also Honda 4T trail bike with a 2T soundtrack.
That's the one that makes me cringe the most.

Terminator 2 - during the chase through the storm drains, the
motorbike with about 12 upward gear changes.

****. Didn't even notice that. I do remember a Honda XL being
dubbed though. Not sure what it was in. :)

One of the Dirty Harry movies when the Harley transforms into a Triumph just
in time to perform a jump-stunt, onto the deck of an aircraft carrier IIRC.

IIRC the Speed Triple in Johnny English sounded nothing like. Ditto the
    Ducati in Matrix Reloaded.

Diamonds are Forever - The baddie drives a Triumph Stag into customs,
where he is taken down and replaced with our hero, who then drives the
Stag on to ferry but rather than the V8, they've overdubbed it with
    something like a Triumph Spitfire.

There's a Happy Days episode where the bike is transformed during a
jump, I unremember the detail now.

Knight Rider; a Harley morphs in to a two-smoke crosser for a jump and
morphs back after landing. The sound track is tractor all the time and
    is a the wrong pitch.

The Ural(!) in Prison Break. Ducati in Matrix part two. In fact most
Hollywood-type movies seem to get bike sounds wrong.
