Same darn Rain

  1. The same darn Rain, that BW, Fullstate and Sunny are talking about on
the other post...‘Riding Today’......Rained bad on my
daughter&husband.....they rode off from Forney last-wed
    afternoon,10-06-04
towards Branson. Keith said the stupid weather folks reported a 30%
chance up in that area....etc. They rode 1100 mile round trip and it
rained 700 of those miles. Their last night, Friday, was in
McAlister,Ok.on their way home....He said Saturday morning in McAlister,
it was pouring down...they loaded up the Harley & took off for Forney,
they got wet and very cold he said. So I figure 70% of the Ride was in
the rain.....so that means they rode 70 miles out of every 100, in
    Rain.....Keith said
it was a stressful Bike trip....they only stayed one night in Branson,
    because it was "pouring". cheeWahWah

Riding in the rain is certainly more stressful, tiring, and risky than
riding in good weather, but I have fun just the same. It's a different kind
of fun, though...and sometimes lasts way longer than I want.

I can relate! I think that we only rode about 10 miles that it didn't
rain on us in some way, shape, form or fashion.

Glad they are OK, though. It got downright dangerous for a bit coming
    back home.

I got the bike all cleaned up this afternoon. Man, it was REALLY
    filthy.
