Many thanks. Only one appropriate response:

"Who knows where the time goes?"

I haven't heard many of them, but thinking back to live gigs would
recommend the Whippersnapper stuff and those with Martin Carthy. Though
TBF the Swarbrick/Carthy is a little too traditional for some.

As to the tribute, it reminded me that I would put Sandy Denny in my top
three female vocalists to listen to along with Joni Mitchell and one
less famous name - Christine Collister.

The programme also made me wonder why Nick Drake gets all the plaudits
and Nic Jones seldom gets a mention.

Good traditional music is fine. I just avoid traditional musicians who
take themselves too seriously, but I doubt Swarbrick falls in that category.

you see, I always thought he went deaf from playing too many gigs with Dave
    Pegg & Richard Thompson...

Being whacked around the face with the head of Dave Pegg's guitar prolly
    didn't help either

"This song is called "dirty laundry ... or Dave Pegg's underpants"

    THWACK

Swarbrick out cold and one broken guitar ...

It's excellent that she's getting the recognition she deserves. I
caught half of the show. Good stuff...
