Satellite telly question.

Looks like madam's Sky box is fubarred.

They're coming to look at it on June 2nd.

If I wanted to buy a spare in the meantime, what do I need to look
for? There are lots of Freesat boxes about, but I imagine they're the
wrong thing.

Ideally to pick up from store tomorrow, rather than for delivery next
weekend.

When ours went south , we couldn't find a store which sold them without
subscription and ended up getting one from ebay with next day delivery
all for about 20 quid.

You need to contact Sky when you get a replacement so they can sync the
card with the box.

from Richer's

I have cable now but Sky+ was worth it, but certainly three years ago,
there wasn't enough HD content to make it worth the extra £120pa they
wanted.

 

I think I shall do the same, on a JIC basis.
