I s'pose it sound better than 'across a railway track'
I wonder if it was set on shortest route, TomTom certainly uses unmanned
level crossings in that mode.

I hardly think the sat-nav's to blame.

Even if she'd been intelligent enough to work out the route using a map,
it wouldn't have told her the correct way to work an unmanned, gated
level-crossing, would it?

No. It would have "you see" on the end if it had.

 

Which is bizarre because Birmingham Uni is one of the best in the
country with bloody high entrance standards.

Mind you, they gave me a degree.

 

Boyfriend's name is Finucane, which is about as Irish as a name can get so I
think the "welshman" designation is suspect. Just because his parents
currently live in Wales doesn't make him Welsh.
