Nope. When I first got it, it appeared to pair ok but just wouldn't
work, and more recently it just won't pair at all and won't even pick
up a signal to say the Nokia is in the area when searching. I've had
issues with the bluetooth dropping its connection when using both my
Scala Rider on the bike and the Nokia headset in the car. Weirdly, the
Zumo will pair and work fine with my old Sony Ericcson K800i phone[1],
but not my new all singing and dancing Nokia E75, despite it being
Bluetooth2 the same as the Garmin, and the Sony being Bluetooth1.

I'm trying to find a Garmin service centre I can physically take
everything in to so they can see and try for themselves.

[1] until the Garmin drops the connection... d'oh.

    I ordered a TTR2 in the end.

The Garmin sounds alright but seems to have its own quirks and the
differences aren't enough to justify the significant price premium.

Also have a fused fag-lighter socket on its way after Adie's proved
itself useful several times over the weekend.

Tricky bit will be working out where the **** to mount the TomTom.

I take it you have run the webupdater thingy, as there were a couple of B/T
    updates in the past.
Failing that, it's back to Garmin. Is it still under warranty? if not, it's
a fixed charge IIRC about 120 UKP but that gets you a brand new boxed unit
with all the gizmo's again. More mounts ) bit of a bargain in some ways.

I've not Googled, but would I be right in thinking that the E75 is an
    S60 phone?

I'm guessing it is because my E71 and 6120 classic are both S60 and
neither work properly with the zumo, multiple headsets, the car kit etc
whereas all that kit works beautifully with a wide range of other phones.

If you do get it to a Garmin service centre, I'll be pretty impressed if
you get them to do anything other than blaming the other bit of kit.

All of this reminds me, I best go try and fix the E71. It's just told me
that the memory's full and that I need to stop some applications. There
are no applications running. If I get my time again I'm buying an iPhone.

It's only a few months old, bought from an established bike shop in
Cornwall via ebay. I've tried updating it online, but when I do it
tells me there's not enough memory even though I deleted all the old
maps/routes etc, so I gave up. I'm going to whoop it into a service
centre somewhere and get them to do it.

If you can spare the time, give Garmin tech support a call. They're
*very* clued up and very helpful.

Try deleting the voices you don't use. Stuff a 2Gb sd card in and that
    should sort it.
Had the same problem with mine, but doing that sorted it ok.
If you're down this way, drop it in and I'll check it for you as I keep a
few of the chaps Zumo's round this way upto date.

If your steering stem has a hollow nut on top of it as my 10R had then
buy a ram mount that's just a ball on top of a length of screwed rod,
drill a hole through the nut and fasten the ram mount straight on top
of the nut. You're coming up to ours this weekend so have a look see
how I've done it and then I've got one more weekend of before we go to
the Alps and if you need a hand I'll help you sort it out that
    weekend.

I just downloaded the updater app and tried again, this time it worked.
While I was on the site I checked the phone compatibility list and it
doesn't list the E75, so I guess I'll just have to make do with what I
have for now and swop the sim card into my SE K800i when I need to
make/take calls on the bike - I can cope well enough using the Nokia in
the car with the handsfree headset and phone not connected to the sat
nav, because the phone is in easy reach and useable.

This serves as a reminder to me not to rush into buying stuff like this
thinking it'll all automatically be compatible with each other.

    Why?

Are you going to listening to Lithuanian, Polish and other voices of the
    like?
You can back them up if you so desire to want them at a later date.
There is more than enough memory in the Zumo for the updates, I don't know
why it sometimes gives memory errors.
I think that the updates have to be loaded into a buffer space before the
internal O/s runs it's loader program. find that with SD card installed,
    you don't get these errors.

Symbian is _not_ your friend )

It amazes me, with the popularity of the iphone, how crap it's blue tooth
    connection software is.
The compatibility issues with it apparently is amazing, it really doesn't
    seem to like most things.
Chaps at work that have the things can't get them to pair with the car
gizmo's or a lot of headsets.
I wouldn't know, never used one and never will!

I was relying to the SD card bit. Getting rid of unused voices is a
    good idea.
But you don't know why. The SD card ought not to make any difference,
and is therefore only hiding the problem and, as I say, offering a
    work-around.
