Redshad ======================================== I got a new heater for the garage. I think I'll sit in the garage until the oxygen depletion sensor activates. While I'm waiting on that to happen I'll work on my floorboards with that Harbor Freight grinder. ....louie
==you mean a 35000 dollar BossHoss dont have no ''floorboards''. huh? Mr.JayT. Floorboards, got'em. A trick I learned from Acorn, is to take a grinder to the bottom of the pegs, put used tires from a rider on, and take pictures and brag. Saves gas, he claims. ...louie
==well Big 0l'Ed I was trying to give Louie the Great, a little benefit of the doubt. I know he has money. Hail' he floored his floor with money... watch'cha'think. MrJayTfuss=
It's worked for me all these years! One problem with it though is when you have people following up behind you to see if what you've been saying is true. Then you have to ride through 2 curves really fast and find a short cut to get to the end of the road WAY before the other riders behind you. Get there, turn the motorcycle in a direction that looks like you just came from those twisties, then turn off the engine and let it cool as much as possible so you can say "I've been here for a REALLY long time waiting on you guys". Oh, and don't forget to carry a portable grinder that runs on 9v batteries...then while you wait on the side of the road for everyone to catch up, you can grind down pegs and sidewalls to make it look like you were REALLY leaned into the turns...

It's easy! Just pile on several hoodies, a thick leather jacket with tough armour, thick leather boots, a good full face HJC helmet with a breath mask inside and plug in the PSP for tunes to keep my mind off it. It was a good ride up to Oklahoma. Good roads! The cold had parts of the highway slippery where it made for sliding turns. I kept it slowed down a slight bit and had for a good time. I don't know why there were parts that were worse than others. In some places I couldn't grab traction at all, then other places were just fine. I left out a little before it warmed up, and the ride starting up there was cold...cold, cold! I didn't make it as far as I wanted to from fear of being caught out when it got really cold tonight.
