  1. From a mailing list I'm on:

    http://www.transport.vic.gov.au/Doi...CD725A2ED11F8202CA2570A600040343?OpenDocument

"The Victorian Government, through the Department of Transport, offers
three $10,000 scholarships to female, full-time or part-time students
starting or completing postgraduate studies in transport-related
    fields.

"The scholarships, valued at $10,000 each, will be awarded for one
year full time or two years part time study. The winner of the
scholarship will also be given the opportunity to participate in
part-time work at DOT during the year, subject to study constraints. "

Yes, they're the ones that turn up for the first lecture and never

  5. In my little village, there is a High school and a Tech school and a couple
    of primary schools
On any given school day, if the weather is good, you will find almost half
the schools' population walking around the town,
So, what are these "students" called?
Also, in the supermarket, on any day at all, you will find about 10 school
aged kids (students?) walking around with their mothers,
not their fathers, because the odds of knowing who their father is is very
    remote.
