Scorpion exhausts

My one started to rattle inside the expansion chamber months ago[1],
plus the end can is rattling. The people in the shop I got it from lost
the warranty form for it on account of it sitting on their workshop
floor for a few months. VE supplied it, but they haven’t been very
helpful at all, saying that they’d need the pipe sent back to them… then
they would decide if it’s a warranty job. That would take time, and
meanwhile, my scooter is off the road. Plus, I don’t trust the shop
enough to send the pipe away and get it back in one bit.

Is there anyone in Scorpion I can talk to about this? Not going to get
anywhere with the shop or VE.

[1] Took the shop months to 'look into it' for me.

Well... it doesn't sound that bad. At least you get good drugs at the
end.

More seriously, I realize that I may have to end up sending it away to
someone I know to get it cut open and properly sorted out[1]. May be
worth doing this instead of dealing with a shower of cunts.

I'm very impressed with the quality of the full Akrapovic system my CBR
has and the now stubbier Akrapovic can I have on my SV.

I bought Scorpions for my Firestorm, they were the best quality
available for reasonable money at the time. Skorpions were more then
twice the price and not that many people had heard of them in 1998, so
I was a bit wary of spending that much money on an unknown quantity.

I think it was a gentlemen's agreement, and Skorpion reverted to the
Akrapovic name.

 

Yes, I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they can do for me.
