Scottish Motorsports Show

  1. Scottish Motorsports Show - a brand new event for 2007, run by Robbie
Allan (in this week's MCN re. his 2007 Dakar Rally attempt - at 65
years old too!) He previously ran the Scottish M/C Show before MCN
    took over!

Some say this is a spoiling event for the Edinburgh MCN Show to be held
in March, after the farce of the cancellation at last year's event due
to 'excessive snow' - but who can say!

This is the first time anyone has attempted to run a show in what could
be the coldest and snowiest month of the year in Scotland, but good
luck to those who venture to it!

I was visiting the West of Scotland and woke up to 4 inches of snow.
Unfortunately the 4x4 was still in the East. Took nearly 3 hours to get
back East with judicious use of shovel at various stuck points.
Cancelling the event was the correct call under the circumstances. Just
headed into Edinburgh for an early drinking session instead ;-) .

More details please the mcn website appears to be designed to encourage
Christopher Columbus style exploration before you can find information.
