I know this has been said before, but whatever you think of their
products, you can't fault their customer service.

I stuck a pre-paid (*Second* Class) warranty registration card in the
post on Sunday; it wouldn't have got collected until Monday.

And on Wednesday, the postman tried to deliver my free gift. Why can't
other companies turn stuff around this quickly?

  2. If we're doing 'big up the good guys': Lap Cinch Inc.

When my car was in the bodyshop, the dozy pillocks managed to remove
the slide plate from the CG-Lock that resides on the drivers seat
belt. Instead of leaving it in the car - it vanished.

I wrote an email to the manufacturer, asking if I could purchase a new
plate. They responded the same day, that, unfortunately, I could not -
as the plates are fitted to each unit, it was likely that sending just
    a plate wouldn't suffice.

Instead, they offered to send me a brand new complete CG-Lock, along
with a SAE to return the old one and a cheque for $10. Two days
later, the new one arrived, $6 in postage costs and an SAE with $4 in
postage on it. So effectively, they gave me a freebie exchange an I
just covered the postage - not the time or admin etc.

Not only is that pretty bloody good service, using the honour method
is going above and beyond imo.
