FWIW i have both. dual injector thingie plus touring reservoir on
blackbird, std reservoir and single nib thingie on gixxer.
As others have said dual doohickies are more fiddlie and a bit of
PITA, not least cos inboard nib thingie (2.95 stg per pair from mr
scottoiler) regularly departs the vehicle. I think this be an
aerodynamic thing that occurs at high speed.
In any case, my dual injector recently having shredded itself betwixt
chain and sprocket, i debated what to replace it with.
I went with replacing with a dual thingie because the single sided
item though being perfectly adequate under normal conditions, i notice
that with extreme low temps, the viscosity increase is such that the
opposite side of chain remains rather dry looking[1], even at flow
rates that result in much flingage from t'other side.
The dual item solves this to minus 15, fiddly and all that it is.

[1] it may be that Tenere chain may (ive no idea) not be as wide as
item i have on bird, and therefore this may not be as big an issue for
    you

I thought the point of the snot oiler was to gather the crap in the oil
and fling it of as opposed to turning it into grinding paste and holding
    it stuck to the chain.

5750 miles, 1 adjustment since new chain fitted.
    Get it fitted.

    YKIMS !
No, using the standard, have used 450mills of oil so far.
I did use the "lube tube " n the XJR, but TBH it is easier to refill.
Have the Oiler fitted on the frame next to carbs.
