    Hi all
My scottoiler has done a nice job of oiling the back tyre and the swingarm
due to a broken pipe that went unnoticed for a day or two. Question is do I
refill it with proper (scottoil) oil or will any oil do? Will other stuff
    rot o rings ?
    Thanx

I use Stihl chainsaw oil from our local Countrywide store. About £2.99/Litre
    and it last *ages*.

Ordinary Chainsaw oil. This is apparently what Scotoil is but Scotoil
    has added colour.

I am rather impressed with my touring snotoiler as it goes. The chain
is getting oiled, not much is getting onto the wheel and there seems to
be loads left in the reservoir. Fitted behind the rear plate it is,
    very neat.
