I was wondering if the surgeon was Italian. If he was German or
Japanese that screw would never have fallen out.

Heh. I'll pass on your regards to the imaging dept at the Nuffield
    Hospital.

Champ had the op' fairly near home IIRC - can't rule out use of a
    Birmingham screwdriver.

If it was German, the knee would've collapsed instead.

The bone growth looks quite encouraging, doesn't it? You'd better keep
doing whatever it is you're doing.

I am, but post hoc ergo propter hoc and all that - I don't think we've
found a magical cause of bone generation.

    Oh I dunno, I reckon a lap-dance from Catherine Zeta-Jones would make
    my bone grow impressively quickly.

Hmm. For some inexplicable reason I sat through Ocean's 12 the other
night, and one of the many negative points of the film was that CZ-J
    now has a fat arse.

In your book the average 12 year old boy has a fat arse.

Have you got the telly set right. When T's watching telly, everyone has

    General anaesthetic? Pfffft!

I had a *tight* screw taken out under local. You know how a wood screw
can "squeak" when it's really tight? That's exactly how it felt getting
the screw out of my leg. Nothing to it.
