Talking to PGM yesterday they can now supply complete plastic moulded
    seat bases for RD's - £95.
A complete new seat using the plastic base with new foam, cover and
    strap - £155

I don't think I've ever bought a seat, does that seem like sensible
    money?

How much would it cost to get new foam and cover, or possibly original
foam and new cover onto the replacement base?

  2. It's not bad. Depends on the foam. A new OE Honda 400 Four seat is about
£170 from Dave Silver. Replicas are half that, but the covers are cheap
and the foam poor. They look OK from a distance.

About £60 from RK Leighton in Brum. Very, very, very good company. Used
    them myself.

Hmm well this is a replica so maybe 155 is a bit steep
See I like this idea, they might make a much more comfortable seat than
OEM. Blondie recently got a mattress/pillow in memory foam. It's
outrageously comfortable and I fancy a seat like that!

Sounds like I should prod them about doing the seat for the Imperial
    Battlecruiser[1]
