Seat question.

Will a seat from a GS500F fit a GS500E?

The one on my bike has worn on the bit that fits by the tank.

 

It was worn when I bought it. My son's bandit had the same problem.

Molly just emailed to say hers is a K1, so that makes it a later model
like the one in your picture. So, the seat she's looking at will fit.

 

It's a 2001.

I just cross referenced part niumbers, those both have the same seat
from 2001 onwards, so if yours is a K1 then the seat will fit.
Technically, according to Suzuki, your bike is a straight GS500, not a
GS500E. Apparently they dropped the E moniker when the K1 model came
out.

 

I just discovered that. On my old GS the V5 the model type is GS500E and
this one it's GS500K1. Thanks for checking it for me.

BTW, I still haven't seen Kill Bill 2 yet.

 

One of the best lines in a Tarantino movie is in Kill Bill II. Very ukrm it
is.

Thanks for that but I've still got KB2 unopened. I was at the Pixies
watching KB1 and started to fall asleep.
