    John says...
I nearly bought one of those once, immaculate it was. I bought a nice
    GS750 instead.

I love the quote "High technical standards" while casting the camera
over row upon row of GT triples. Who the **** were they trying to kid.

Nope. DKW/Hercules made quite a good one in the early/mid 1970s, but
the firm went bust shortly afterwards. Van Veen, a Dutch maker,
produced a colossal one in the mid-1970s.

    Don't think so.

Road text painting in English but line markings in Foreign.

Well, well. The scenery said "Japan" but the road markings said
    "Engrish spoken here"

  13. I was wondering if it was Ireland. As you say, they were driving
on the right side of the road, but I don't recall seeing advisory speeds
painted on the roads before, nor the red diagonal markers into tight
corners. My only venture on Japanese roads was by bus... Also I assumed
all the 40s were mph rather than km/h.
