Shannon Special anyone?

    Anyone ever heard of a bike in the fifties called a Shannon Special,
    built by a bloke named Hugh Shannon?

    And if so, any info on it would be appreciated.

    There are no existing pictures as the Shannons bike wasn't ridden except
    on sunny shiny sundays about once a month very slowly and where there
    was little risk of an accident so little opportunity existed for photo
    taking.

    I hear the owner was a real motorcycle enthusiast though!
