V has found some cheap all-inc escape in Sharm for 400 quid.

"I just want somewhere hot", she says.

Those who've been, bearing in mind previous threads, can you give me a
    two-liner to slap her down?

    Ta.

    Want some Gyppie cock?

Mate just got back from one. You gotta believe this, unconscious,
naked outside his hotel room with a dislocated shoulder. He swears
his arse didn't hurt as much as the shoulder.

Cost him 900 for the medical bill.

Blimey, I was going to suggest if V wanted somewhere hot Ogden ought to
have her washed and sent to my room but you sort of beat me to it.

Actually, T's still got the heating wound up to 11 so she'd definitely
    get her wish.

Unless you dive or snorkel it's incessant badgering from the natives
    trying to sell.

    Shits.

    Big time shits.
    No probs.

I actually enjoyed our holiday there but we both ended up with a
really bad dose of the shits and though I'd probably chance it again
Adie certainly wouldn't. I thought it was great wandering back from
the bar at the hotel at midnight and being able to stop and get
pancakes made to order and just eat them as you walked back to your
room but not daring to stray more than 50 yards from the nearest bog
in case you shat yourself kind of took the edge off it a bit.

Amateur. I barely made 35 yards on my worst day in Bangalore, after a
mad dash across reception ended up projectile shitting into the bog
whilst urgently backing into the cubicle and dropping trousers. I then
realised I couldn't actually risk getting up to close the door. Not my
    finest hour, or indeed week.

Honest he swears he remembers nothing, the hotel staff found him. He
does have a bit oof a reputation for rather odd things happeing to
him, but this one took the biscuit.

The Spanish poisoned me[1] in Algiceras couple of years ago, I didn't
move from the hotel room for 36 hours, then had to ride the Trophy
back to Germany. I made about 35 miles on the 1st day. After that, I
think I visited every French motorway shitter there was on the route
back. Those places are dire. Worse than dire. The only good thing
was the cripple bogs are marginally less like the opening shot of
    biological warfare.

[1] Ok, the seafood tapas that was still on the bar at 10 o'clock at
night probably wasn't the best management decision of my life.

It's fine so long as you don't leave the hotel. Try and do any normal
holiday wandering around type stuff and the natives will badger you half to
    death.

You also need to haggle for *everything* outside of the hotel. I think
that's why we didn't see a single vending machine in all the time we were
    there.

Regrettably it's becoming the new Costa's/Canary Islands with the worst of
    British scumbags.

As others have said locals badger for sales out of the hotels.

Go to Luxor or Hurghada instead. They're better places and you can get
    similar deals.

  18. We got a week on one of those luxobarge cruise ships down the Nile, with
a dozen visits to temples, tombs, etc, for £100 less than that. In fact,
similar deals this year on www.africansafariclub.co.uk

    <Checks>

OK, so £399 this time, but rather better value, a bit more cultural, and
(I suspect) a shedload more fun.

We already have a Nile cruise pencilled in for later in the year, so I'm
not sure why she's suddenly fixated on Egypt in June. I'd rather go
somewhere else during the summer anyway, I'd have thought Egypt might be
    a bit toasty.
