Don;t send a bike via container, if you want it to arrie at the same time
    as you :)

I have. Quick response and all that.
San Francisco, but that might not where the bikes end up if I don't get
a job on the West Coast. If it's Chicago, they should be sent there
    instead.

They'll follow a little later anyway.
Hmm. That might be an option if I resurrect the towbar electrics on
Ann's Jeep *again*. Otherwise it won't be.

Doesn't have to. They'll be on their way once we settled down a little.

  4. Indeed.

Closer to (my curent) home, there's High Plans Raceway just built East
of Denver. I may be taking advantage of that later this year.
I don't like humidity, so for me Colorado has the best weather in the
U.S: 4 seasons, almost no rain, 100F in Summer, winters cold enough
for skiing and warm enough for open-top motoring within 24 hours.
    Always, but always sunny.

If you like hotter, Cali, Arizona or Texas. Florida is for tourist
and old gimmers. If you like colder, I hear North Dakota has sockets
to plug in your sump-heater at the supermarkets...

WA State also seemed like a pretty good place, as did Northern Cali around
    Sonoma.
Mention Chicago to WASP 'Merkin types and they tend to grimace somewhat. In
    my limited experience.

I love it there, pretty chilled out in most parts, but it doesn't half
rain a lot. It's not that green for no reason.

Colloquially known as the Pacific Northwet.

Are you interested in sharing a container with a Dago sending bikes
    there?

  11. I was astounded at how green it is up there. I mean, Western Europe is
    pretty green, right?

I think it was the sheers amount of different greens, all so vibrant.

Potentially. Depends on where the container is starting out and where
    it's going...

  13. If it's starting in Dago land, the cost of getting it off the boat in
the UK, to restuff andback on the boat headed for the US, might be in
    the 'eek' category.

and it assums that you would both want your bikes in roughly the same
    geography.

  16. You are mistaken, he's in the UK.

Sea freight out of Switzerland would be interesting ;)
