Can't you drop it before work, arrange a courtesy bike?

    Ooops sorry.
Not really. Work starts at 0630ish. Nominally I could probably drop it
off afterwards but it's even further from work than home is IYSWIM.

Anyway, I'm so ticked with work ATM that I'd driving in, I just can't
    face the bike [1]

I shouldn't moan though, life is generally [2] good (before Simon W and
Steve H chime in ;)) I'm just whinging.

The 156 is due in on Friday, and we're busy next weekend, but might see
if I can arrange it for the Friday / weekend after.

[1] There is a *substantial* chance that I might *need* to be in the car
one day, so I can clear my desk. [3]
[2] It actually has the potential to become unfeaseably good very
    rapidly [4]
[3] This would actually be one part of the best possible outcomes.
[4] Or it could become slightly crap, but even slightly crap leaves us
OK until the end of February
    [5] There is no 5 ;)

For what it's worth, there is a tube station next door.

To Germany? I doubt the bike would get so much as a 2nd look if you rode it
    through Belgium and across Boxheadland.

I can look after if you like. Oxford's about 20 miles for me. No danger
of me drinking any of it, I still can't touch the stuff.

Ooooh, that might work, if I can get the bike to the office.

And you know how likely that is right now.

Thanks Simon. Depending on what Champ and the Pixies decide I might
well take you up on that.

I didn't realise you were that "local".

I used them last year and they were pretty good, insofaras I took it in
for a service and a new rear tyre, they did a service and fitted a new
    rear tyre.
