Shoei Multitec

  1. So what do we think, boys and girls?

Went and tried one on today, and it instantly felt "right". Seems like a
    really nice lid.

It looks like shopping on-line would get me one only slightly cheaper
than my local shop, so I'll probably buy it locally.

A copper I was speaking to recently had one "for work", as it were. He
liked it, although reckoned it was a bit noisy. To me, fit is more
important than anything else, so if it feels right, I'd go for it.

1786g though mate, heavier than any helmet I've ever owned.

A nice Arai Corsair or HJC HQ1 would be light and the very safe helmets.
I'm not saying *you* need to wear a really protective helmet you understand
    now....

Oddly, it felt very light. But then, I'm used to me Lazer Revolution,
    which *was* heavy.
    heh.

When I'm down in 3 weeks feel the weight of this HJC. 1300g or less, as
Christo can testify it's like a feather (he crashed in one). The Corsair is
    similar.
I guess you want a flip front though. From the System3 on I've found them
    all to be very heavy.

My Nitro 1200VX is lighter, still...

My HJC flip front is 1700g, Linda's is 1750g.

Quite possibly the noisiest crash helmet I've ever owned. It's quieter
    with the front up.

    Don't think so.

The original Syncrotec weighed about that.

The Syncrotec II weighs about 1525 and the Multitec weighs about 1400.
