It finally arrived on Thursday last week, and I managed to get out and
do about 50 miles with it on today.

First impression is that it's heavy - certainly weighs a lot more than
the Shoei XR800 it's replacing. However, that's not a huge issue as it's
not overly heavy once on the move.

It does feel a bit odd not having to take my specs off before putting it
on, but I'm sure I'll get used to that, what I'm not sure about is the
amount of noise. I know a flip-front is always going to be noiser than a
normal full-face lid, but it seems exceptionally noisy. I may have to
break the habit of a lifetime and start wearing earplugs.

It's strangely liberating to ride around town with the flip up, but I
also found that you can ride up to around 50mph with it up if you have
the slide down tinted bit down.

Build quality seems pretty good, better than the previous Caberg
flip-fronts and, IMHO, not too far off the quality of a Synchrotech
    (spelling?).

Finally, Auvache was right, with the tint down you do look very cool.
    Especially as mine's a matt-black version.

Gosh. Mine is as light as a feather next to the Xlite it replaces.

I presume you have a fairing because my mileage varies. The inner visor
seems to make little difference to the wind regardless of whether the
outer is up or down and if I weren't wearing glasses I would want the
    front down at 40.

    I keep telling you kiddies.

Steve, you live in Wales. If you look "cool" they'll burn you at the
    stake
