Should've gone to Specsavers

  1. A frequent whinge amongst bikey types is the attitude of car drivers toward
them. I was/am always considerate to bikers when in the car but since I've
been riding again, **** me there's a lot of blind cunts out there!

I'm sure a lot of drivers think all bikes are mopeds so they'll have plenty
of time to pull out of the junction, roundabout etc. before I get to them.
I've never been in danger of ramming any of them but they've all been given
a mild parping and most have waved an apology in the rear-view mirror,
indicating that they were potential SMIDSYs.

On the plus side the journey from Ramsgate to Margate has been transformed
from a nightmare into an absolute pleasure. I usually expect to be stuck in
crawling traffic for a minimum of 30 minutes each way as the very shite
Thanet District Council have done absolutely nothing to the old roads
approaching the big new shopping centre near us, but now, riding down the
middle of the road between the cars, I find it quite difficult to get the
    grin off me boat :)

Bikes rock. Even in the rain.

What pissed me off this week was the dozy tart who turned right then
signalled then looked [1] from the inside lane of a two lane
    carriageway

[1] because by then she had the bike headlight shining into her eyes
    through the drivers side window.
