    That's very un-Lozzo-like. Well done.
Of course you won't ride it until Sunday. Not. At. All.

    Yes.

After binning my SV while braking on a damp manhole cover last January,
I thought ABS might have saved me from going down. I managed to haggle
a deal that meant I didn't pay the extra for it.

I won't be. Round the back of where I live is private land, so I've
been going round in circles in front of the garages just because I can.

You should have insisted on them making both legs the same length.

If there's garages there then I bet you can't - it's almost certain to be
classed as a public highway by the RTA.

Very nice. I might well have bought one but at the time there was a better
deal on the V-Strom. I saw lots of positive reviews of the Versys so I
think you will enjoy it. Will you be at the BOSM this year with it? If so
    CIHAGM?

Sure you can, I'll be leaving the keys in for anyone interested in
trying it. I looked at the V-Strom, but it was even taller and too
    bulky.

As we were getting this one off the dealer's trailer a guy who lives
behind me pulled up on his 650 V-Strom and was having a good look at
it. He said "It's ugly, but it ain't as ugly as this" then rode off.

They delivered it by trailer today because they aren't open on Sunday
March 1st and tomorrow the shop will be too busy for anyone to leave.

They all have been so far. One of the owners offered me an extended
test ride on his own bike before I bought this one. He doesn't usually
let anyone even sit on it, but finding a demo to ride was proving
difficult so he stepped in. As it was I borrowed a friend's
girlfriend's one for half a day and had a play with that.

They let me know exactly when the bike arrived from Kawasaki, when the
touring kit arrived etc and were very helpful and communicative. They
    delivered it FOC as well.
