Sure you can, I'll be leaving the keys in for anyone interested in trying it. I looked at the V-Strom, but it was even taller and too bulky. As we were getting this one off the dealer's trailer a guy who lives behind me pulled up on his 650 V-Strom and was having a good look at it. They all have been so far. One of the owners offered me an extended test ride on his own bike before I bought this one. He doesn't usually let anyone even sit on it, but finding a demo to ride was proving difficult so he stepped in. As it was I borrowed a friend's girlfriend's one for half a day and had a play with that. They let me know exactly when the bike arrived from Kawasaki, when the touring kit arrived etc and were very helpful and communicative.
