They are 65mm and won't fit straight on, but the better 4 pot Tokico
TL1000S ones will. They make those in 65 and 90 mm spacing, be sure to
get the right ones. Don't bother with Tokico 6 pots, they are shite.

Well I agree but I have them so....
Do you think the 9R and the Gixxer 6 pots will be effectively the
    same?

The ZX-9R front end is perfect, the Bandit is weighty enough to make it
work. An R1 front would be too soft and too short to do it properly. The
caliper mounts make for a greater choice of brakes too.

Disagree. I love the "WTF's holding that *on*?" look from the RHS.

And I have *exquisite* taste in motorcycles as a quick glance at my .sig
    will confirm.

It's a nice and compliant, well damped and fully adjustable upside-down
front end with capacity for stonking brakes to be fitted straight on.
They look really good and they work well on heavier bikes. Perfect for a
    Streetfighter.

They're not the same as the forks on your old 9R, this is from the
previous model. It's always been reputed to have been better but dropped
from the 9R for reasons of cost.

Indeedy. It's suitably "look at me", but not over top "OI!" on the
noise front. Well done with it - it's a nice bike and no mistake.

The B's had USDs? Why did they go back to non-USDs for later models, then?

FWIW, I think the non-USD forks on my 9R give me more feedback than the
USDs that were on the Falco, which were meant to be very good indeed.

    Cost more than anything else.
All depends on the bike and the forks. Stuff like Paoli or Marzocchi
suspension is notoriously hard as standard, yet Showa is usually quite
    soft.

They were all talkative during the "you're braking too hard, you're
losing grip" stage, but went strangely quiet after that. Incommunicative
    Italian shite, obviously.

    I've gathered that.
Well, yes. The main problem on Falcos is the extremely cheap and nasty
rear shock, which is never going to help you get the best out of
whatever's fitted at the pointy end.
    <fx: blank look>

    So, what's a ZX-9R E2 fitted with, then?

I thought Aprilia used Sachs shocks.
Kayaba, aka KYB IIRC. They seem to make most Kawasaki suspension.
