I saw a few today. The one I was going to buy was fucking hideous, the
second one wasn't much better (Loz will disagree with this) and the
third in silver and black was lovely. I was all ready to bung a deposit
down on it but what with the price and the young salesman's attitude
towards having a chat about the whole thing, well, I walked.

The forth one, in the picture was a compromise. They had a later one in
red that caught my eye as soon as I walked in but it was sold. Anyway,
we had a chat (different dealer) and a provisional deal was done: They
agreed to bring the bike over if I agreed to a fully refundable deposit
if it was in any way not what I'd expected.

No I didn't. The full price is a little bit more than I'd budgeted for
but I'm not going to buy the the thing if I can't live with myself for
paying what I did. I've only put a deposit down at the moment. As I told
the bloke, this isn't eBay and I'm not going to shell out more money on
a vehicle than I've ever spend before on a picture.
