It has it's own way. Stuff needs to be injected and like the internet
    it will eventually get there.

I dunno how good you think your geography is but Sunny Essex is not "on
the way past" Hertford. Essex is not "on the way" to anywhere unless
you count Harwich or Dartford as anywhere. I haven't done it in a while
but I expect Hertford to here by cage is upwards of an hour and a half
these days. It's best part of an hour from here to Harlow, assuming any
of the roads are open which is not something you can rely on lately.

Silver Hammerite!! Bonus time, the paint that is still attached to the
frame on my GS is Silver.

The only reason we're having this conversation as it goes, is because I was
searching for something else I'd posted, saw this thread and wondered what
    I'd posted.

And then it 'all came flooding back to me'.

Anyway... it's still here, and still yours.
I'm in Canterbury, and you're near Billericay / Basildon if my memory serves
me right... not that far off the beaten A127 track either... so in the great
scheme of things between here and Hertford, you're not exactly miles out of
    my way.
Yes, but that's with you driving, isn't it...
Ok, well you can have *both* tins I have sitting here then - bought to paint
the car towing dolly I had last year, and never used.

You are in Canterbury? Right, just down the road. I'll collect then.
Assuming the mongvan passed it's mot yesterday and I can be arsed to go
down there and get it back.

The magic word is driving, when you can do it. I dunno what has
happened to the major roads round here lately but I seem to hear two or
three times a week these days of incidents occurring up to 10 miles away
from the M25 which just brings the top right hand corner and all the
feeders around it to a grinding halt.

Okey dokey - I'm on lates this week... which basically means I'm about til
3pm each day, and off all day Friday.
Sounds like business as usual, day time at least.

    I bloody hate that road.

OK, let me get the van back in my possession and we will go from there.

I swear it has got noticeably and quickly worse. It doesn't matter what
direction I go in from here but if I travel for more than 20 minutes on
the bike 3 miles of standing traffic appears out of nowhere with a body
or a truck in a ditch at the end of it. It must be an absolute fucking
nightmare to have to rely on a cage to get you anywhere reliably with
    any regularity.
