smoooooooth, the fuel injection really changes the power delivery
its a smooth constant increase in power as you turn the throttle
the bike physically feels the same, except for the suspension feels harder,
    everything
feels new. I need a bigger helmet as I grin from ear to ear :)

....and Brembo P4 calipers too? I want some of them for the 748.
Don't know why, as the standard Goldlines are fine, but I just think
I really should have 4-pad ones on there...

I don't know if I could live with a front end that looked like that.

The ZX-10R has a hugely different front end if you at them from the
    front.

From the rider's seat back, they look similar.

How the mighty have fallen. Darsy, domesticated and discussing
doilies. It'll be aspidistras and antimacassars next, mark my words.

I scanned that as "they remind me of dollies" which was briefly
    confusing.

They don't always look like that. Sometimes they point towards the
    sky.

    They're a bit fast aren't they.

I've not ridden anything apart from BMW K series bikes for about 18
months. Blimey. My memory of the 9r was it was fast but nowhere near
    that fast.

In a 10 minute ride I had two cars beep horns at me and a lorry driver
give me the 'tosser' sign. I've remembered how to ride a large sports
    bike then.

If I had the spare cash I would be quite tempted.
